Yakima's HangTight is capable of holding bikes up to 70 lbs on the two center cradles, and up to 37.5 lbs on the outer cradles. The HangTight accommodates wheels from 20" to 29" and tires as wide as 5". Rotating rear wheel cups adjust to wheelbases up to 50", ensuring a tailored fit across varied bike designs. Please note, this rack is not compatible with aero handlebars, clip-on aero bars, or handlebars larger than 35mm in diameter. For dual-crown fork bikes, an optional HangTight DH Cradle accessory is required.
Loading and unloading bikes is straightforward thanks to fully padded cradles that safeguard your handlebars and a foot-operated tilt mechanism which gives convenient access to the rear of your vehicle without removing the rack or bikes. The rack folds down easily for storage and vehicle access when not in use.
Security-wise, the Yakima HangTight includes a HitchLock to secure the rack to your vehicle. While it doesn't come with a bike cable lock, there is an integrated lock loop where you can add your own lock to secure your bikes.
